The Powerball numbers for 09/07/19 are:

  • First Five: 11-20-41-42-56
  • Powerball: 06

Tonight’s 09/07/19 jackpot is estimated at $40 million, with a cash option of $28.7 million. The jackpot could increase if sales further lottery projections, according to officials.

Someone purchased a ticket in New York jackpot of $80 million on Wednesday, which reset the game to its $40 million starting point.

Winning numbers from the 09/04/19 jackpot of $80 million on Wednesday were:

  • First Five: 04-08-30-52-59
  • Powerball: 02
  • Power Play: 10x

The grand prize ticket sold in New York on Wednesday was the second-consecutive Powerball grand prize winner from the Empire State. Also on 09/04/19, there was a ticket sold in Virginia that matched all five white balls for the second prize of $1 million.

The odds of hitting the grand prize jackpot are 1 in 292,201,338, regardless of the jackpot size — according to Powerball’s website.

Powerball is a multi-state lottery and one of America’s two biggest lottery jackpot games. Jackpots start at $40 million, and other prizes pay from $1 million to $2 million or more with a Megaplier. Tickets are $2. You can check the numbers for tonight, or any past winning numbers, on the official Powerball website.

The other multi-state lottery is Mega Millions, which is played on Tuesdays and Fridays. Like Powerball, the jackpot is reset at $40 million after a jackpot is won, and one line of numbers is $2, with a $1 option to multiply their winnings with a Megaplier. Here is the Mega Millions website for more information, or to check any potential past numbers.

Saturday night we will post the Powerball 09/07/19 drawing payouts and tell if there was a winner and where that winner came from, if so.

There are nine ways to win money during the Powerball. Just getting the powerball with no other numbers pays out $4, and even more if the power play is bought for an extra dollar. The same payout goes for one ball plus the powerball, and $7 is the payout for two correct numbers with the powerball, or three correct numbers and no powerball.

If all five white, numbered balls are chosen but the red powerball is not correct, then the payout is $1 million, with an even higher payout if the power play is chosen.

Powerplay was 2x

The jackpot went back to $40 million with a cash option of $28.7 million after one lucky lottery player in upstate New York won Wednesday night’s Powerball jackpot worth an estimated $80 million, according to the lottery website.

No one won the the jackpot Saturday so the grand prize will rise to $50 million next Wednesday with a cash option of $35.6 million. Four tickets matched all five white balls to take home a million-dollar prize. Three sold in California, Louisianna and Washington were worth $1 million each, while a ticket sold in Florida also had the Powerplay to make it worth $2 million.

Meanwhile, the Mega Millions jackpot rose to an estimated $154 million with a $109.4 million cash option, according to the website.

Unfortunately, anyone hoping to stay under the radar with future winnings is out of luck. In New Jersey, winners are required to be identified. But maybe not for long after a bill was introduced in the NJ State Legislature to allow winners to remain anonymous.

If you’re dreaming of winning the Mega Millions jackpot, you should probably call a lawyer and be ready to tell lots of people no because life is about to get a little hectic.

The jackpot was an estimated $40 million for Saturday night's drawing.
