Angela Pares may continue her job as a daycare teacher, but she won’t have to worry about her finances.

The Basking Ridge woman is one of five friends who are splitting a $106 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot, drawn on Sept. 11 of this year, according to The Journal News.

Pares has been splitting lottery tickets with four New York friends for about a decade now, and they finally hit the big one in September. The winning ticket was a quick pick purchased at the Yonkers Grocery & Convenience Store, the report said. The winning numbers were 5, 11, 31, 50, 67 and Mega number 14.

Pares, living in New Jersey, will receive slightly more after the group splits the pot five ways, the report said, bringing home $8.6 million. The New York residents will each receive $8.5 million.
