    Watch How to Play Video

Daily 4 is the daily game with lots of ways to play and win! Daily 4 is played four times a day (Monday-Saturday) offering a minimum play of 50 cents with five (5) different play types to choose from. Daily 4 is the only game to offer Pair Play! You can play the first two, middle two or last two numbers. (12XX, X12X, XX12)

Get more chances to win with FIREBALL! When you play FIREBALL, you can replace any one of the four drawn Daily 4 winning numbers with the Daily 4 FIREBALL number to create FIREBALL prize winning combinations. If your selected numbers match any of the FIREBALL prize winning combinations, win a prize!

    Daily 4 drawings are held four times a day (Monday-Saturday) at 10:00 a.m., 12:27 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 10:12 p.m. CT. Ticket sales are not available during Draw Break, from 9:50 – 10:03 a.m., 12:17 – 12:30 p.m., 5:50 – 6:03 p.m. and 10:02 – 10:15 p.m. CT.

This game is included in the Lone Star Lineup В® draw game promotion.

    How to Play

First, pick four single-digit numbers (or two single-digit numbers for Pair Play) from “0” to “9” or mark the QP (Quick Pick) box and your numbers will be selected for you.

Second, select how you want to play your four single-digit numbers for Straight (Exact Order), Box (Any Order), Straight/Box (Exact/Any Order) and Combo or two single-digit numbers for Front Pair, Mid Pair or Back Pair.

    • Straight (Exact Order) – You win if your numbers match the winning numbers in the exact order they are drawn.
    • Box (Any Order) – You win if your numbers match the winning numbers in any order.
    • Straight/Box (Exact/Any) – For a little extra money you can play both exact order and any order. You win if you match the winning numbers in exact Order or in any Order.
    • Combo – Simply a convenient way to play all possible Straight (Exact Order) combinations on one ticket.
    • Front Pair – You win if your numbers match in exact order the first two numbers drawn.
    • Mid Pair – You win if your numbers match in exact order the second and third numbers drawn.
    • Back Pair – You win if your numbers match in exact order the last two numbers drawn.

    Third, choose your play amount.

Fourth, choose the number of drawings you want to play with Multi-Draw. You can play your Daily 4 numbers for up to 24 consecutive drawings. To play consecutive morning, day, evening and night drawings, just select the desired number of drawings. You can also play your Daily 4 numbers for up to 24 consecutive drawings for a particular draw time. To play only morning, only day, only evening or only night drawings, mark the desired draw time (MORNING, DAY, EVENING or NIGHT) and select the desired number of drawings.

Fifth, FIREBALL! The Texas Lottery will draw one Daily 4 FIREBALL number from 0 to 9 after every Daily 4 drawing. When you play FIREBALL, you can replace any one of the four drawn Daily 4 winning numbers with the Daily 4 FIREBALL number to create FIREBALL prize winning combinations. If your selected numbers match any of the FIREBALL prize winning combinations, win a prize! To add the FIREBALL feature to your play, mark the “YES” box. Adding FIREBALL doubles the cost of each Daily 4 board played.

No. State law prevents the sale of Louisiana Lottery products through the Internet. Only licensed retailers are legally authorized to sell Louisiana Lottery tickets.

Yes! The multidraw features on the Lottery’s draw-style games allows players to purchase plays for multiple drawings, up to 14 for Pick 3 and Pick 4 and up to 20 for Powerball, Mega Millions, Lotto and Easy 5. If you win a prize during one of the drawings, you do not have to wait until the last drawing has occurred before collecting those winnings. When you cash a winning multidraw ticket with drawings still remaining, the Lottery’s terminal system will print out an exchange ticket good for the balance of the remaining drawings and with the same numbers as on your original ticket. The retailer will retain the original ticket as it is no longer valid and give your exchange ticket with your winnings.

Winning scratch-off tickets can be claimed up to 90 days following the closure of the game. A list of closed games and end-of-redemption dates can be found on this website. Winning draw-style game tickets can be claimed up to 180 days following the drawing in which the prize was won.

All of the Lottery’s games are games of chance. Drawing games are conducted using random number generation. This means that every number combination has an EQUAL chance of being selected for every drawing, REGARDLESS of whether or not it was drawn in the past. If number combinations that had been drawn in the past were removed from play, the game would be unfair. Even assuming that number combinations could be eliminated, it would take 1,000 drawings, or 2.8 years, for every possible Pick 3 combination to be drawn. For Pick 4, it would take 10,000 drawings or 28 years.

When a prize is claimed it becomes the property of that individual, even if the prize is paid out as an annuity. Hence, all winnings become a part of the estate of the deceased.

The winning numbers or results of Powerball, Lotto, Pick 3 and Pick 4 drawings are broadcast beginning at 9:59 p.m on the following television stations. Mega Millions drawings are broadcast at 10:00 p.m. on the following TV stations, except for WVUE-FOX8 where it airs at the top of the first commercial break of the hour.

Pick 3 & Pick 4: Daily at 9:59 p.m., except Easter Sunday and Christmas Day. There are no Louisiana-based drawings on Christmas Day or Easter. Drawings for the multistate games, Powerball and Mega Millions, will be conducted should Christmas fall on a draw day. Tickets must be purchased by 9:00 p.m. on the draw date for Powerball and Mega Millions, and by 9:30 p.m. on the draw date for Pick 3, Pick 4, Lotto and Easy 5 to be eligible for that drawing.

Pick 4 was introduced March 1, 1999 with daily drawings.

On occasion, certain popular Pick 3 and Pick 4 numbers may “sell out” and cannot be purchased. Unlike other draw-style Lottery games, Pick 3 and Pick 4 pay out an established prize regardless of how many tickets are winners. In order to adequately fund these fixed prizes, the Lottery establishes a prize liability limit on these games and restricts sales of tickets for such drawings if the liability limit would be exceeded by the drawing of any particular numbers. Liability limits usually take effect when a large number of people have chosen a certain number, such as 9-1-1 after the Sept. 11 terrorist attack or 2-0-0-0 when the millennium ended. There is no need for sales restrictions on Easy 5, Lotto, Mega Millions and Powerball numbers, since jackpots are pari-mutuel, meaning the jackpot is divided equally among all its winners.
